Thursday, May 13th is the 16th annual Bike to Work Day, a day of promoting the health, environmental and economic benefits of bicycle commuting. On the morning of May 13, San Jose State University and the City of San Jose will have an Energizer Station at the corner of 4th Street and San Fernando Street, in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library. This station, along with more than 200 other Energizer stations located throughout the Bay Area, will provide snacks, encouragement and a free reusable tote bag to bicyclists. The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition, which coordinates the Bike To Work Day activities in the South Bay, also has scheduled numerous events on that day:
