Bike Champions of the Year 2021
Do you know someone who is truly committed to riding their bike for every day transportation, forgoing motorized vehicles in deference to reducing their carbon foot print and lessening their impact on the environment whenever possible? How about a cyclist who inspires others to get out and pedal—maybe for the first time or to start again? Then nominate them for a Bike Champion of the Year Award!
Nominations can be made between March 4 and April 1, 2021. Anyone is eligible and you can submit more than one name.
One Champion will be chosen from each Bay Area county—Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma—and will be written up on the website, in a media release and celebrated by their local bike coalition. Winners will be posted toward the end of April and celebrated during May's Bike Month and Bike to Wherever Day.
